This application is for members that wish to defer up to two of their current auto or personal loan payments. Payment deferrals are not available on Home Equity Loans, Credit Lines, or Home Loans.


To be eligible for a deferment, loans must be at least 6 months old. Please be sure that your most recent payment (prior to the deferred months that you are requesting) has been made before applying. Payments cannot be skipped if the loan is already 30 days past due. If your loan is set up for automatic payments, please allow a minimum of 3 business days before your loan payment date so we can stop the transfer. UICCU will approve no more than three deferments on each loan in a rolling twelve month period and no more than 6 deferments total during the life of a loan. (Note: In the event that we have a special deferment offer during the holidays, three full payments will need to be made after two consecutive deferments have been received before another deferment can be requested.) Accounts that have a delinquent credit card, or forced-place insurance will not be eligible for deferment. A processing fee of $30 will be added to the loan for each month deferred. We will respond to your request by email within 2 business days. If your loan qualifies, we will adjust the due date in our system and include the next payment due date for the records. If your loan does not qualify, we will include the reason it was declined.

By clicking the submit button below, you authorize UICCU to extend your final loan payment by the number of months you have selected. The processing fee amount stated above (per monthly payment deferred) will be automatically added to your loan balance. Interest will continue to accrue on your loan during the month(s) your payment is deferred. Payments made via payroll deduction will be deposited into your UICCU savings account. Payments made via ACH will be suspended throughout the deferral period. If you have your payments scheduled through UICCU's online banking it is your responsibility to cancel those payments during the deferral period. UICCU is not responsible for updating automatic payments made via third party, i.e. Pegasus Pay, Online Bill Payer, etc. All loan payments must be current to qualify.
