Our allocations committee meets monthly to evaluate the applications and determines funding based on eligibility and compliance within our donation guidelines. UICCU is unable to grant all application requests, but will certainly favor those that affect the good of our membership and the community. Please click here to complete.
Free Tax Preparation for Low Income Iowans
UICCU is a partner of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA). You may be eligible for free tax preparation of you 2016 tax returns. To get information about VITA, visit the following links based on the county where you live in Iowa:
- Johnson County : Click here for information.

- Polk County: Call 2-1-1 from a landline or 515-246-6555 from a cell phone.
- Black Hawk and Linn Counties: Call 2-1-1 from a landline or 319-739-4211 from a cell phone.
- Outside these Iowa Counties: Check the IRS website for a VITA site near you.
2017 Give & Grow Scholarship: Do you have a senior high school student starting college next year who embodies the UICCU philosophy of giving back to their community?
