Iowa One™ Card
The Iowa One Card is the official identification card of the University of Iowa. Think of it as your key to campus life.
Iowa One Card is used on campus for:
- Identity verification
- Gaining entry to athletic events
- Checking out library materials
- Eating meals in residence halls
- Access to Instructional Technology Centers
- Buying books & supplies at the University Bookstore
POWER IT UP for use at ATMs and Retailers
As an added convenience, UI has partnered with the University of Iowa Community Credit Union (UICCU) to add optional ATM and PIN-based debit functionality to your Iowa One™ Card.
If you choose to open a new Iowa One Checking Account at UICCU, you can use your card for unlimited FREE access to all campus ATMs. You can also use the card off campus at retail locations that accept PIN-based debit transactions.

Cards are issued in the Iowa One Card Office located in Jessup Hall. Business hours are 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday (excluding University holidays). The Iowa One Card Office can also be reached at (319) 335-2716 or by e-mail at iowaone@uiowa.edu.
