Platinum Rewards Visa

Summary

UICCU owns its credit card portfolio. It's not masking a big bank card company behind the scenes. So expect the best that a card has to offer, without the fees.

No annual fees. A 25 day grace period on purchases. Low non-variable rates. Local service. The ability to design your own card. And we haven't even gotten to the best part, the rewards.

Our Platinum Rewards Visa gives you an opportunity to earn points just for using the card, and you receive those points anywhere you use it, not just at specific locations like some cards. Redeem points for a wide variety of great rewards, including:

  • Airline Tickets
  • Merchandise
  • Hotel Nights
  • Tickets to major events
  • Cash Bonuses
  • And about a million other options

There's nothing special to do...just use your card. Each month, your statement will reflect points earned and total points accumulated. You'll earn one point for each dollar of purchase.

When you wish to view your reward options or redeem points for rewards, visit www.selectyourrewards.com/UICCU or call 888-445-8640. If you are not a card holder yet and wish to see what rewards are possible, choose the "browsing" option after clicking on the link above.

To apply for the card, call us at 339-1000, 800-397-3790, or stop by any branch, to pick up an application.

Q&A

Q: How do I check or redeem my points?

A: Just look on our homepage in the lower right corner. Click on the link to check or redeem your points.

Q: How do I redeem for cash?

A: Once logged in to the link above, go to the Accounts Credit tab. The minimum amount of points required to cash in will be 5,500.

Q: Are there special incentives to get the card now?

A: Yes. Anyone that opens a new card gets 1,000 bonus points when they use it the first time.

Q: Is it possible for me to LOSE my points or be suspended from the program?

A: Yes. A member can lose both the ability to earn points and redeem points if they become delinquent or go over the limit on their card on their card account. However once the card is brought back in line, they will begin accruing again where they left off. Also, if a member goes too far delinquent or files for bankruptcy, then all rewards are forfeited.

Q: Do the points expire?

A: Points expire monthly after 2 years. That means that if you earn 200 points this month, you have 24 months to redeem those points before they expire.
