Job Opening Overview

Due to continued growth, the University of Iowa Community Credit Union is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Mortgage Loan Assistant at our Branch in Southwest Cedar Rapids.

Depending upon experience and qualifications, the candidate may be brought on as a Senior Mortgage Loan Assistant. In this position, your primary role is to partner with the Branch Mortgage Loan Officer to process loans. Ideally, you will possess previous mortgage experience, preferably in processing first mortgage loans. This position requires you to independently process large loan volumes accurately and quickly. Further, it is important that you are able to prioritize assignments accordingly. Accuracy and attention to detail are both required. Enthusiasm is a must too!

This full-time, non-exempt position requires a minimum of 40 hours/week. Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Loan volume often dictates additional work hours, which are necessary to meet critical deadlines and member demands.

Base salary range for the Mortgage Loan Assistant position is $14.24 – 19.26 and for the Senior Mortgage Loan Assistant is $16.75 - $22.66, commensurate with experience; PLUS a production-based incentive.
